BIOEFFLUENT PLANT FOUNDATIONS PLANT

Project Info

Description In two phases, Wildstone completed the tank foundations for three 40m diameter digesters and then completed several upgrades to the project site in advance of several buildings and structures for a Bioeffluent/Power Plant project. The interior upgrades included selective demolition and process piping inside an operating pulp mill.

The first phase included the construction and finishing/curing of the digester pads. This was completed between October and December and consisted of over 2,000 cubed m of concrete poured during one of the coldest November’s on record. Wildstone utilized its own ground thaw heaters and installed temperature monitoring probes both under and inside the concrete to maintain quality assurance before and after our pours.
