Approaching 2 yrs with Wildstone as a Superintendent, I have found them to deliver and often exceed on their promises. Our culture is what separates us from other companies; exceptional team building, approachable leadership core, adaptive safety programs and progressive career growth are pillars of success in this organization. It’s been a fantastic 2 yrs looking forward to continuing to build a career here.

There are many reasons why I love working at Wildstone but the main one that come to top of mind would be the people. I have found some of the most authentic, down to earth colleagues here at Wildstone. Which is incredible, considering the number of employees. Everyone seems to understand the common goal of completing a project to the best of our ability and understand that supporting each other in our roles is the most effective way of achieving this. Another huge plus is the type of projects Wildstone takes on, providing opportunity to work in some pretty incredible places. Wildstone’s connection to northern communities, has allowed me to adventure to parts of Canada I normally would not have had the chance to explore.

Being a relatively new hire and having spent the last 9 months with the company, I have experienced how things can be done better.  By better, I mean the enlightened attitudes seen by a team environment, productivity improvements with a positive work environment, following through with what’s been said, and quality displayed by people who care.

The work has its unique challenges that brings with it a special reward knowing you’re improving communities, services, and industry through building together in remote locations and with green initiatives.  Building solar arrays to reduce or eliminate consumption of fuel burning alternatives, improving the supply of clean water to people, upgrading building efficiency to reduce operating costs, or building facilities to host community activities and gatherings.

Things are done differently at Wildstone, by giving back to the communities through money raising events or donating the funds to local charities earned from upcycled products that would have otherwise been thrown out.  Making a difference is a value the people and company support and stand behind.

What I love most about working at Wildstone is the team of amazing people I am fortunate enough to work with!  We are a group of unique individuals who, guided by Wildstone’s Core Values, truly work together to get things done.  On a regular basis I hear stories about how our crew members have helped out within a community or have found creative ways to raise funds to donate – we go beyond just doing our jobs and we care about the communities we are fortunate enough to work in!

I’m not just a number, Wildstone will invest as much time and money into you as you are into them. Wildstone hires some of the most knowledgeable people in their desired field, which gives me the opportunity to learn and grow. I am looking forward to growing my knowledge of construction in the years to come.

Have been given a lot of opportunity for growth with Wildstone and allowed me to work on many different tasks to expand my knowledge of carpentry.
