Yukon Energy Corporation LNG Conversion Facility
A first for the Yukon. Full mechanical construction of the territory's first LNG backup fuel facility, with Wildstone stepping up as principal contractor mid-project.

Yukon Energy Corporation LNG Conversion Facility
This was a first for the Yukon. Wildstone was contracted to perform the full mechanical construction of Yukon Energy Corporation's LNG Conversion Facility adjacent to the Whitehorse Rapids Generating Station, introducing LNG as a backup fuel source for electricity generation in the territory for the first time. The scope included complete mechanical installation of LNG systems, piping, tank connections, and fuel-handling infrastructure.
Midway through the project, Wildstone stepped up as principal contractor, taking over site safety, trade coordination, and final delivery. Executed through winter conditions on a congested multi-scope site, the project came in on time and on budget. Yukon Energy recognized Wildstone for exemplary project management and responsiveness.
