Taraw Water Treatment Plant
Wildstone completed significant mechanical and civil upgrades to the Taraw Water Treatment Plant in Pelly Crossing for Selkirk First Nation, without interrupting service for a single day. The $3M project included a new buried concrete water reservoir with full piping integration, an additional third boiler with dedicated chimney, upgraded filtration, flow metering, and booster systems, and heat trace installations to protect critical piping through Yukon winters. Controls, instrumentation, and SCADA systems were modernized throughout. Keeping a remote community's water running while overhauling the plant delivering it takes planning, coordination, and a team that knows northern construction.
