Smithers Airport Water Treatment Plant

Wildstone completed upgrades to the Town of Smithers' Water Treatment Plant, an investment backed by the Government of Canada's Green Infrastructure Stream, the Province of BC, and the Town of Smithers. The project involved the installation of advanced filtration and UV disinfection systems to bring the facility up to current health and operational standards. Construction began in 2024 and wrapped up in summer 2025, ensuring reliable water treatment capacity for the Airport, Watson Landing, and the former Lake Kathlyn Elementary site area.
