Mount MacIntyre Recreation Centre Renovations

Wildstone is delivering a two-phase renovation of the Mount McIntyre Recreation Centre in Whitehorse, home to Tennis Yukon, the Whitehorse Curling Club, and the Whitehorse Cross Country Ski Club. Phase 1, completed in fall 2025, included energy efficiency upgrades, exterior refinishing, lobby and meeting room modernization, fire code upgrades, road re-paving, and accessible parking and barrier-free doorways.

Phase 2, running April through September 2026, includes construction of a new upper-level lobby, three new washrooms including one barrier-free unit, a full lower-level changeroom renovation for skiers and curlers, and replacement of five air-handling units to improve building air quality. Work has been sequenced throughout to minimize disruption to facility users.
