Lynn Building Energy Retrofit
A full mechanical overhaul under Progressive Design-Build, with major GHG reductions in a subarctic climate.

Lynn Building Energy Retrofit
The Lynn Building in Whitehorse needed a mechanical overhaul from the ground up. Wildstone led a comprehensive retrofit under a Progressive Design-Build model, starting with a detailed building condition assessment to identify where upgrades would deliver the greatest return. The aging fuel-oil heating system was replaced with a modern high-efficiency hybrid combining propane-fired boilers with electric heating components, significantly cutting greenhouse gas emissions while holding up in Yukon's subarctic climate.
A full HVAC replacement followed, with upgraded controls, improved ventilation, and higher-performing air handling units. The project qualified for substantial support under the Yukon Government's Good Energy Program.
