Kashgêk Building, Kwanlin Dün First Nation

The Kashgêk is a 40,000 square foot community hub built to celebrate and preserve Kwanlin Dün First Nation's rich cultural heritage. The state-of-the-art facility houses a cultural resource centre, archival storage, display facilities, an elders' lounge, a healing room, and versatile event spaces, all brought to life with locally sourced materials, glulam wall panels, and mass timber framing. Energy-efficient design features throughout including maximized daylighting, passive ventilation, and rainwater collection reflect both the values of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Wildstone's commitment to building with purpose.
