Kashgêk Building, Kwanlin Dün First Nation
The Kashgêk is a 40,000 square foot community hub built to celebrate and preserve Kwanlin Dün First Nation's rich cultural heritage. The state-of-the-art facility houses a cultural resource centre, archival storage, display facilities, an elders' lounge, a healing room, and versatile event spaces, all brought to life with locally sourced materials, glulam wall panels, and mass timber framing. Energy-efficient design features throughout including maximized daylighting, passive ventilation, and rainwater collection reflect both the values of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Wildstone's commitment to building with purpose. Completed on schedule.
