Inuvik RCMP Detachment
Inuvik, Northwest Territories. Permafrost ground conditions. A shortened vertical construction window of under 12 months. Wildstone delivered a purpose-built 13,500 ft2 RCMP detachment facility for Public Works and Government Services Canada, including the largest thermopile foundation installation ever completed in Canada at the time, a critical solution for maintaining structural stability in fluctuating arctic ground. Despite seasonal transport constraints and extreme temperatures, the project came in on schedule and on budget. Wildstone self-performed the full mechanical scope including HVAC, plumbing, and specialized operational systems integration.
