Faro Fire Hall & Community Services Building
Faro is a remote community in the Yukon, and it needed a fire hall worthy of the people who protect it. Wildstone delivered the 1,229 m2 Faro Fire Hall and Community Services Building on schedule and well under budget. The facility serves the Faro Fire Department, EMS volunteers, and Public Works staff and is the first building in Faro not tied directly to existing water-sewer infrastructure, opening the door for the town to expand essential services. It was also designed to exceed minimum energy efficiency standards by 25%, reducing long-term operating costs for the community.
