District of Summerland Solar + Battery Energy Storage System

Wildstone led the EPC delivery of Summerland's first utility-scale solar and battery energy storage facility, a project that put real teeth into the municipality's energy independence goals. Working in partnership with SkyFire Energy, we delivered 412 kW of solar capacity, 1 MW peak battery output, and 3.56 MWh of energy storage, all integrated seamlessly into Summerland's microgrid. Civil works and electrical controls were handled by local Okanagan trades, keeping the work and the economic benefit close to home.
