Denare Beach Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades

Wildstone constructed and commissioned a comprehensive wastewater treatment plant upgrade for the Northern Village of Denare Beach, self-performing all civil, concrete, structural, and mechanical work. The scope included a new concrete dual-sided sequential batch reactor tank with a bituminous insulated roofing system, sludge drying beds, and a heat recovery system, along with upgrades to the existing plant.

Groundwater dewatering was required to install the mattress slab foundation for the new SBR tank. Treatment process upgrades included new sequential batch reaction pumps, UV disinfection, alum dosing equipment, stainless steel rake screens, and all new process piping, electrical, controls, instrumentation, and programming.
