Canadian Bank of Commerce National Historic Site, Phase 1
Heritage restoration on one of Canada's rare Renaissance Revival landmarks, completed with zero deficiencies.

Canadian Bank of Commerce National Historic Site, Phase 1
Not every project gets built from scratch. Some of the most demanding work is preserving what's already there. Wildstone led Phase 1 of the restoration of the Canadian Bank of Commerce National Historic Site in Dawson City, one of Canada's rare examples of Renaissance Revival architecture, complete with ornamental pressed metal facades, cornices, and intricate mouldings. Working under dual municipal and federal heritage designation, Wildstone brought enhanced safety protocols, rigorous preservation standards, and close collaboration with the City of Dawson to every step of the process. The project reached both substantial and total completion in fall 2023 with zero deficiencies.
