Cactus Ridge Assisted Living Facility

Wildstone constructed the Cactus Ridge Retirement Residence in Osoyoos, BC — a four-storey, 98,000 sf assisted living facility with 92 units, completed in 12 months on a fast-track design schedule. The site presented significant challenges, including a steeply sloping grade that required Wildstone to shore up a large bank and roadway using its own forces. A tower crane was erected on-site to expedite forming and framing phases. The facility includes a commercial kitchen, theatre room, and a suspended slab parkade built into the hillside, with wood frame components prefabricated off site to meet the aggressive schedule.
