Brucejack Mine Substations

High voltage. Harsh winter. Helicopter lifts. The Brucejack Gold Mine project in northwest BC was not a simple job, and that's exactly the kind of work Wildstone is built for. Under an EPC model, we designed, procured, and constructed three critical substations across three separate remote sites during the winter of 2016-2017: a 138kV tap station, a 138kV-69kV processing substation, and an indoor 69kV substation for mill and mining infrastructure. Despite extreme logistical constraints and materials transported in part by helicopter, Wildstone delivered ahead of schedule. The substations remain the primary electrical backbone for mine operations today.
